Rapture"><U>home</U></A></div> <div> ...Mysterious Ways<FONT SIZE="4" COLOR="#000000" FACE="Arial" >                                                                </FONT></div> <div> <B>We have all heard the phrase, "The Lord works in mysterious ways."   I could not agree more.</b></div> <div> <B>I was fortunate enough to have Christian parents, and grew up with an understanding of what Jesus did for the world.  On my 17th birthday I was born again.  After graduating high school I moved away from home.  Several years went by in which I  did not seek to grow as a Christian.  </b></div> <bR> <div> <B>I had returned to work after a week of vacation when I met Brian.  He was newly hired, and assigned to me for his on-the-job training.  He asked if I had  heard  of  a  book  titled   </b><A HREF="http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0684849739/103-2435846-8855832" TARGET="_top" TITLE="http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0"><U><B>THE BIBLE CODE</b></U></A><B>.  He then explained what it was about.  In a nut shell,  vast amounts of information about people and events, past, present and future, are encoded in</b><B> the first five books of the Bible (</b><B>the Hebrew text called the Torah).  I was fascinated.  Until that point, I had seldom ever </b><B>read</b><B> the Bible.</b></div> <bR> <div> <B>He also told me about a  radio talk show dealing with prophecy.  This did not interest me near as much as the so called </b><I><B>bible code</b></I><B>.  This reinforces my belief in how God truly knows every person.  HE knew I had a puzzle solving mentality, and used it to set me on the path to repentance.  </b></div> <bR> <div> <B>A couple of weeks later I had to go out of town on business.  After a couple of boring nights in the hotel room, I broke down and bought a copy of the BIBLE CODE.  I was there for two weeks and finished the book in three evenings.  It really had me thinking.  After returning home, I began to research the bible code on the internet.  It was exciting!  Then  I  came  across  a  book  called       </b><A HREF="http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/1578562252/qid%3D982860443/103-2435846-8855832" TARGET="_top" TITLE="http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/1"><U><B>WHO WROTE THE BIBLE CODE</b></U></A><B>.  After reading this book, the bible code began to lose it's luster.</b></div> <bR> <div> <B>By this time I had been listening more and more to that prophecy talk show.  It is called </b><A HREF="http://www.soundwaves2000.com/endtime/" TARGET="_top" TITLE="http://www.soundwaves2000.com/endtime/"><U><B>POLITICS AND RELIGION</b></U></A><B>.  I learned that prophecy can be very puzzling.  Perfect for me!  The Lord's mysterious ways were hard at work.  My job requires quite a bit of drive time throughout the day.  That means listening to the radio.  I started to scan other Christian radio stations looking for other programs about prophecy.  This exposed me to all kinds of programs with various  subject matter.  Just what I needed.  I began to get a well rounded knowledge of the old, and new testament.  That knowledge and understanding continues to grow to this day.</b></div> <bR> <div> <B>I now know there is much more to God's word than prophecy.  However, I feel that prophetic scripture was meant to reach certain people more than others.  Why else would there be so much of it in the Bible?  Other themes in the Bible reach certain other people.  </b><B>I am grateful that the Lord reached out to me.  I also think the way he did it was very cool!   </b><B>Anyway, the Holy Spirit moved me to the point of producing this website, and I pray that it inspires you.  Thanks for stopping by.</b></div> <bR> <div> <B>                    "May the Lord richly bless you my beloved!"</b></div> <bR> <bR> <bR> <bR> <bR> </td> </tr></table></body>
